Counselling

Hunters Hill High School has two experienced school counsellors who provide support for students. Essentially, these counsellors assist students and their families to negotiate the challenges that accompany adolescence. These challenges may include:

  • family and relationship issues
  • loss and grief
  • effective learning strategies
  • anxiety and other issues

A counsellor is available 4 days a week - Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

Students may self-refer to the school counsellor; parents and teachers may recommend referrals to the school counsellor.

The school counsellor may be contacted through the main school phone number, 9817 4565, or students can make an appointment at the counsellor's office, which is located in Block O.
